Dolores the Crocodile

Dolores was a crocodile
Who simply wouldn’t crack a smile.

So even if you told a joke
Her stony visage never broke.

Why, folks could even tickle her.
It wouldn’t ever cause a stir.

They’d bark and clap like circus seals,
And slip on slick banana peels.

And after all that taxing work,
Dolores wouldn’t even smirk!

Perhaps there’s something to the rumor
That she has no sense of humor.
