Richard Murphy

Chair

Mr. Murphy spent most of his career consulting to CEO’s and executive leadership of U.S. multinational corporations. He is a business practitioner, successful entrepreneur, and angel investor in start-up’s with a purpose.  He founded ODI International, and co-founded ODI, delivering high-impact management consulting and performance algorithms that were realized through the alignment of strategy, customers, shareholders, and employees. His firm was named several times to INC Magazine’s list of the 500 Fastest Growing Companies in the US and was acclaimed globally for its ability to cascade client strategies across multiple industries with superior business results.  He later expanded ODI globally living and working in Asia and Europe.  Mr. Murphy began his career with CIT Financial, CBS, and Control Data Corp before starting ODI.

Mr. Murphy has served on numerous boards including, ODI Europe, Greenwich Leadership Forum, RSR Partners, and was a founding member of Instructional Systems Association.  He currently sits on the Board of Innovative Neurons and Granchester Group.

A graduate of Windham College, Mr. Murphy served active duty in the US Marine Corps.

John Gallagher

Vice Chair

Managing Director of Cerberus Capital Management focused on investments related to U.S. national and economic security. Prior, he advised multiple senior military and civilian leaders from the Pentagon to the White House. A former airborne infantry officer, Gallagher graduated from West Point and holds two master’s degrees with distinction from The University of Chicago, in public policy and political science.

David Thayer

Treasurer

Recently retired partner at the Blackstone Group, where he helped oversee one of the firm’s publicly traded investment businesses. Prior to this, David had co-founded Harvest Fund Advisors, a family of hedge funds investing in energy infrastructure, which was purchased by Blackstone in 2017. A former US Army Captain and a graduate of the Wharton School, the London School of Economics, and the University of Chicago, David is now an entrepreneur and independent investor.

Susan Hutchison

Secretary

Susan is an American journalist, philanthropist, and political leader from Washington State. She spent over 20 years as a news anchor at KIRO-TV in Seattle, earning five Emmy Awards. Later, she led the Charles and Lisa Simonyi Fund for Arts and Sciences, supporting arts and education. Hutchison served as chair of the Washington State Republican Party from 2013 to 2018, helping the party gain seats in the state legislature. She ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate in 2018.

Kevin Cusack

Kevin is Managing Director/Investments with PearlStreet Investment Management, leading a team of investment professionals to offer clients Stifel’s full range of investment services. Prior to joining Stifel in 2016, Kevin spent nearly 13 years at Oppenheimer & Co. and nearly 15 years at McDonald Investments. With more than 35 years of experience, Kevin guides high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and foundations to pursue their long-term goals. Along with his team, he works with 401(k) retirement plans covering more than 40 corporations. He was named to Barron’s Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the U.S. list for 2010, 2011, and 2013. Kevin serves on the board of directors for WORLD magazine and is a trustee of the Grand Valley State University Foundation.

Jeff Drubner

Jeffrey is an accomplished entrepreneur and innovator with a background in federal law enforcement and technology-driven analytics. He is best known as the co-founder and president of Verus Analytics LLC, a company specializing in data-driven solutions for government agencies. Drubner’s expertise spans auditing, entity resolution, and compliance analytics, and he holds multiple patents in these areas

David Engelhardt

David Engelhardt is a New York– and Texas–based attorney, entrepreneur, and cultural leader whose work spans law, media, and ministry. As founding attorney of Engelhardt Law P.C., he has represented clients in over $50 million in litigation and built a nationally respected practice in entertainment, media, and intellectual property law. His firm advises studios, streaming networks, and creative agencies on high-stakes corporate and licensing matters, with deep expertise in structuring complex ventures at the intersection of law, storytelling, and technology.

David also serves as a board member and legal counselor to Turning Point USA, one of America’s most influential faith-and-freedom organizations, which generates over $100 million in annual revenue. In that role, he has helped guide strategic growth, cultural initiatives, and governance practices during a period of national expansion.

As pastor of King’s Church NYC, David leads a vibrant congregation in Manhattan known for uniting faith and cultural engagement. His teaching bridges theology, philosophy, and civic life, positioning him as a leading voice for Christian moral renewal in the public square.

Beyond the pulpit and the courtroom, David is a frequent news commentator, appearing on Fox News, Newsmax, and other outlets to discuss issues of faith, freedom, and law in American society. He is also the founder of Truman Media, a film and streaming platform producing original documentaries and narrative content rooted in the Western tradition of virtue and liberty

Sophie Sutton

Sophie Sutton is a New York-based interior designer and the founder of Sutton Minto Design, established in 2017. With a background in fashion and event planning across Paris, London, Milan, and New York, she brings a globally informed, art-centric approach to her design work.

Seth Talbott

Seth Talbott is a CEO and serial entrepreneur working at the crossroads of business and technology who started his career in IT and software development over 25 years ago. Seth is a “40 Under 40” Award Winner, Co-Founder and CEO of a 3-time Inc 5000 “Fastest Growing Private Companies in America”, speaker, teacher and startup advisor.

Stephanie Whittier

Stephanie joined Morgan Stanley in 1975 after graduating from Boston College Carroll School of Management with a B.S. in Accounting. Since then, she has held positions in Morgan Stanley Investment Banking, Morgan Stanley Real Estate, Morgan Stanley Institutional Equity and Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

Leslie Wilson

Leslie is a licensed Associate Real Estate Broker with Douglas Elliman in New York City. She has over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry, specializing in high-end properties in neighborhoods like the West Village. In addition to her role as a real estate agent, Leslie has held leadership positions in the industry. She served as Director of Sales at The Trump Organization and as Managing Director and Co-Founder at Global Fund Advisors Limited. Currently, she is the Senior Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing in New York.
